Khimji’s Watches features a shop-in-shop concept that showcases each brand in an exclusive and unique environment, specially designed for the customer’s comfort and as per the individual brand’s requirements.

“We want to be the first in the field and Rolex should be seen as the one and only – the best”- said Hans Wilsdorf, the visionary founder of Rolex in 1914. Since then, in a century marked by rapid technological advances, Rolex watches continue to wear the crown, living up to the promise of their iconic emblem.
It was a matter of immense pride and prestige when the Khimji Ramdas Group, led by Mr. Gokaldas Khimji in the early 60s brought Rolex to Oman via the Port of Aden in South Yemen. Starting from a single showroom in Ruwi designed by the legendary Swiss watchmaker to ensure it met the stringent global standards. The rest as they say is history and like Rolex, ‘Khimji’s Watches’ have never looked back.
In the 50 years that followed, the ‘Khimji’s Watches’ portfolio has been further enriched with magnificent brands like Cartier in the 80s and Oris and Chopard a decade later. Each brand with a rich inspirational heritage upholding the standards of perfection, prestige and timeless elegance that ‘Khimji’s Watches’ customers have come to expect. Jewellery, writing instruments, accessories were a logical extension to cater to the needs of its discerning clientele.
The exclusive showroom set up in the Shatti Al Qurum area in 2009, designed by Obrist of Switzerland is still considered one of the most elegantly designed in the entire region. The state-of-the-art Rolex-designed ‘Khimji’s Watches’ service centre with highly skilled and trained personnel ensures that customers get the finest after-care for their precious acquisitions.
As the oldest watch distributor in Oman ‘Khimji’s Watches’ enjoys the trust and confidence of five generations of loyal customers in the country, and the name ‘Khimji’s Watches’ has become synonymous with high quality and luxury.
To this day at the showroom, the signature Rolex deep green feature wall inspired by the boundless ocean is a reminder to uphold Wilsdorf’s vision to be the first, the only one and the best.
